After leaving the car hire depot, turn right at the roundabout onto the Fi-Pi-Li autostrada towards Firenze (blue sign)

Exit at CASCINA and continue straight to roundabout (2km). Turn right at the roundabout towards Latigno, Cecina. At next roundabout (1/2 km) turn left towards PONTEDERA.

Continue straight along this road for approx 2km , cross over bridge and turn right at T-junction towards CALCINAIA 4, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit right towards LUCCA 25, BIENTINA 4 * there is a PAM supermarket here if you need shopping.

After the PAM supermarket there is a roundabout, turn left towards Lucca. Continue through San Giovanni alla Vena at the next roundabout and turn right over bridge and immediate left at T-junction following signs for BIENTINA and LUCCA.

Continue straight along this road and by-pass around the outskirts of Bientina until crossroads/traffic lights. Turn left over bridge towards BUTI (there will be a shell petrol station on your left).

Pass through Cascine di Buti until you reach Caccialupi (just after Total petrol station), our entrance is on the left, about 20 mtrs after the T-junction to Altopascio/Autostrada.

Turn up between a garage and stone wall, take the first track right passing an old woodmill and follow the track up about ½ km until road forks –take the 2nd right past a black shed at our entrance (no. 796) and follow our cypress tree lined road up to the Frantoio.
